Egg donation is when a woman donor gives her eggs to the Intended Parents, giving the gift to create a family's Modernly Ever After.
Most Intended Parents choose egg donation for various reasons: infertility, same-sex couples or single individuals. Modernly Ever After’s Intended Parents come from all walks of life from around the world.
To begin your Egg Donor journey, you will first need to complete our initial Intake Form click here. It is crucial that you read over and meet our standard requirements to become an Egg Donor. If you do not meet these requirements, you will be immediately disqualified from the process.
If you have completed the initial intake Form and have met the standard requirements, you will be prompted to complete the Egg Donor Application. The application takes about 10 minutes, and it's easy to apply right from your phone. You will be contacted within 24-48 hours to inform you of the next steps.
You are a United States or Canadian citizen or Legal Resident of either Country
You are between 21-29 years of age (Up to 31 for experienced donors)
You have Regular menstrual cycles
You have no history of reproductive problems
You maintain a healthy BMI
You have a healthy family history, free of inherited genetic disorders

Most women experience little to no complications during the egg donation process. You can experience minor discomfort after the procedure, and/or symptoms associated with your natural cycles, such as headaches, moodiness, or cramping.

Yes, depending on the form of birth control you are currently using. Most acceptable forms of birth control include: birth control pills, the patch, the nuva ring or IUD (non-copper or copper).
If you are currently using Implanon/Nexplanon or Depo-Provera for birth control you will need to switch to one of the acceptable forms of birth control listed above or remove and have at least three menstrual cycles before applying.

First, we will get to know you and more about your values and expectations as we believe that the donor will be able to decide whom they want to help. The Intended Parents are screened as well; this will help to fine tune the matching process and ensure parental readiness.
Typically, the matching process begins when an expressed interest comes from the Intended Parents and the reciprocal decision from the donor. The MEA Team will then coordinate a virtual meeting to solidify the match.
No, you do not need your own medical insurance. While it is recommended that you have insurance, you may still be an Egg Donor without it. If you do not have medical insurance, a complications insurance policy for the duration of your donation cycle will be provided. This will protect you in the event of any complications related to the IVF cycle, which is fairly uncommon.
